Last year we were spoilt with not one but two royal weddings, as both Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie tied the knot with their sweethearts in 2018.

But we have not seen the last of the royal weddings yet, as rumour has it Princess Beatrice could be walking down the aisle next year.

A member of the princess’ family has told the press that the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson could be getting married to her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi by summer 2020.

Editor of Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward told Hello!: “They’re going to get married – I was told by a member of the family. I think a wedding as early as next spring or summer is likely.”

Royals typically need the approval of the Queen before they can get married. However, as the 31-year-old is ninth-in-line to the throne, she is exempt from having to ask Her Royal Highness for permission.

Despite this, the Express reported how the Queen’s granddaughter might have travelled to Balmoral Castle – where she resides during the summertime – last week to announce her engagement.

“They have to find a gap in her diary before they name the day, and this would have been the ideal opportunity to discuss it,” said Ms Seward.

It remains to be seen whether the Duke and Duchess of York’s daughter and the Italian property tycoon are planning to tie the knot next summer – or if they even engaged. The pair has only been dating since September 2018 but their families have been friends for several years.

According to The Sun, Princess Beatrice is “head over heels in love” with the multi-millionaire, so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they became husband and wife sooner rather than later.

Of course, to make their wedding stand out from the other royal nuptials recently, they should consider deluxe photo booth hire in the UK. We’re sure photos of some celebrity friends dressed in hilarious costumes will provide great memories for years to come!
