How To Look Your Best In Photo Booth Photos!

There’s no better way to capture your event, no matter what it is, than by having a photo booth on site – and there’s nothing more entertaining than looking back at all the candid snaps that your guests have shot.

But, of course, you still want to look your best even if you are just messing about with your pals… so here are a few top tips from the Planet Booths team to ensure that you get all the fun photos you want, while looking fabulous at the same time. Enjoy!

Practise go-to poses

A little bit of prep goes a long way in a photo booth, so just find a few poses that you really like and practise them ahead of time. 

Using your hands to make a heart shape is a classic, naturally, but other cute poses include cupping your chin in your hands, blowing a little kiss, or actually kissing someone if you’re in there with other people. Just have fun with it. Who knows what you’ll come up with?

Use the space

Although somewhat limited, you do still have some space to play around with in a photo booth so don’t just sit there in a static pose. Get dynamic, move around and you’ll find that you get better, more interesting photos as a result.

Use the props!

You can go it alone, of course, but there are photo booth props there for a reason so if you’re feeling a little self-conscious, grab a few to mess about with and you’ll soon come out of your shell.

Shake it out

You don’t want to be too stiff and forced when the flash goes off so if you’re feeling a little unnatural, give your body a little shake around to get some more relaxed movement into it. You’ll be able to tell the difference in the photos for sure.
