Mark This Late Easter With Some Memorable Pictures

Now that spring is upon us, everyone will hope it is a sunny and warm season. However, in most years it is a highly changeable time for weather.

Some other things are also far from constant, such as the date of Easter. This is a moveable feast that can take place anytime from late March to late April and this year, with Easter Sunday falling on April 20th, it is the latter.

That doesn’t make it the latest possible Easter – that is April 25th and will next occur in 2038 – but it is close enough and it means if you want to have a party over that weekend, you have a decent chance of enjoying some sunny weather as you do so.

If it is sunny, you can do great things like having a picnic and running an Easter egg hunt for the kids, although some might advocate one for adults too (perhaps with eggs in places where the youngsters cannot reach).

However, even in late April you cannot possibly rely on the weather always behaving itself. Let’s face it, even June and July are a risk, with someone’s wedding sure to feature a few umbrellas. That is why having somewhere to go inside and things to do there – like having fun with a photo booth – is a must.

This might be a particularly great idea if you have someone coming dressed up as the Easter Bunny, who kids can have their pictures taken with. However, everyone can join in and get some great shots of themselves in their spring outfits, showing off their Easter eggs (especially the painted, non-chocolate kind) and generally having fun.

Having a booth also means that the fun can move inside when it gets dark in the evening if your party goes on late enough, although this will be a lot later than some Easters, since Midsummer is just two months away and the clocks have gone forward.
