Stars Turn Up In Force For 2018’s Second Royal Wedding

Expecting a royal wedding is like waiting for a bus – you wait ages for one and then two come along at once. That is what 2018 has been like for us Brits, as we’ve watched not one royal tie the knot, but two.

Today (October 12th) saw Princess Eugenie walk down the aisle to hitch fiancé Jack Brooksbank in the same chapel where Prince Harry married actress Meghan Markle just a few months before.

As you can expect with any regal affair, the venue was filled with aristocracy from around the world. As well as Princess Eugenie’s cousins – Prince William, Prince Harry and Zara Tindal – Windsor Castle was filled with up to 850 other VIP attendees.

These included celebrities like Demi Moore, Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler, Kate Moss, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding and Robbie Williams. Of course, her grandparents Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth II herself turned up to watch the ceremony.

Keeping the important wedding roles within the family, princess’ sister Beatrice took pride of place as maid-of-honour, while her father Prince Andrew walked her down the aisle, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte were pageboy and flower girl.

After being pronounced husband and wife, the couple enjoyed a carriage procession around Windsor before arriving at a Windsor Castle reception hosted by the Queen.

Much like Prince Charles did with Prince Harry at his May nuptials, Prince Andrew will host a more informal evening reception for close family and friends.

It is not known how the young couple plan to enjoy themselves this evening; if they have hired a UK photo booth for their guests or not, but as the groom is a brand ambassador for George Clooney’s Casamigos tequila, we are quietly confident there will be plenty of drink at the star-studded affair.
