If you’re currently in the throes of planning your wedding for later on this year, it’s certainly worth having a look to see what’s trending for these occasions to see if you can get a bit of inspiration for your own impending nuptials.
Luckily, those in the know at handmade marketplace Etsy have just revealed their top wedding trends for 2019 and they’re sure to give you lots of food for thought.
Reported on by the London Evening Standard, the rundown includes statement sleeves for wedding dresses, with more than 155,000 searches carried out for this on the site in the last three months.
It seems that 90s style is also proving popular for weddings, with a 14 per cent hike in searches for butterfly clips in the last 12 months and more than 307,000 searches for rhinestones in the last month alone.
And veils seem to be on the way out, interestingly, with alternatives like bridal headpieces proving popular at the moment as well.
Also have a look at the Brides Magazine website for a few more ideas for your forthcoming wedding. Coral is a beautiful colour that’s trending right now and one that would work wonderfully in a wedding setting, while opulent wedding cakes are all the rage, perhaps in large part because of all the royal weddings we’ve had in recent times.
