Could A Photo Booth Boost Your Charity Event?
If you’re planning a big event to raise money for charity, you’ll no doubt be looking for ways to make it as fun and appealing to your fundraisers as possible.
For any organisation that’s planning an activity, such as a long walk or a run, to help raise money for their cause, booking photo booth hire in Warwickshire could also be a good thing to do.
Wessex FM recently reported that Weldmar Hospicecare, which provides end-of-life care to people in Dorset, raised £44,000 for the charity at its annual Midnight Walk.
It’s a women-only walk and this year 500 women took part, setting off at midnight and hiking a five or ten-mile route. They typically walk in teams, so you get some great costumes and many people wear T-shirts with the name of the person they’re walking for written on the back.
One of the features of this year’s event was a photo booth to allow people to get before and after shots of their teams. It’s a great opportunity to provide all the women taking part with a personal memento of their evening.
For the charity, it can also provide some great content to share on social media, as well as being the kind of thing that those taking part are also likely to share on their profiles, thereby boosting the profile of the charity.
It’s also a great idea if people will be walking, running or doing any other activities in fancy dress. You could even raise extra funds by selling some of the shots if you wanted to.
