Corporate photo booth hire could be the perfect way to create fun memories with your staff at the office Christmas party, as everyone lets their hair down.
Why A Photo Booth Is Perfect For Christmas Parties
Christmas comes but once a year, but it has some great traditions. There’s the tree and stockings full of presents, roast turkey and carol services. But there’s also the office party.
Some workplaces have done away with this tradition, perhaps because of past mishaps involving alcohol or inappropriate behaviour, but for three-quarters of companies, this is still the most important event of the year, an occasion to have fun and trust your staff to have a good time too.
A great way of making it a party to remember is to hire a photo booth. This is not only a chance to get a few poses in and produce funny pictures to laugh about in the office (although it is certainly that); it is also another way to break down barriers that might usually exist between staff of different ranks.
A survey by Cartridge People of HR managers in 2022 found that large numbers of people confessed to not behaving well at the party, including ten per cent who shouted at their boss. But perhaps having something so fun-inducing as a photo booth, where any gripes from the office can be left behind and a lot of funny faces pulled, could help bury the hatchet.
True, there may also be snogging of colleagues to be regretted in days to come (or, on a more optimistic note, recalled in the best man’s speech one day), excess drinking and of course some quite appalling dancing (and worse karaoke). But these need not be photographed, especially if all the pictures are taken in a booth instead.
Ensuring the Christmas party is a happy and fun affair is not always an easy thing to do. But with a photo booth as a focal point, the task may be an awful lot easier and the event more fun as even the most dour of colleagues are prompted to let their hair down for the occasion.
