Would You Turn Up On Your Wedding Day In A 1989 Batmobile?

Some couples like to express their personalities on their wedding day, such as turning up in a Batmobile or hiring a wedding photobooth to entertain guests.

For many people, it is important to stick to traditions at their weddings, while other couples want to make the most of their special day to really express their personalities. This is exactly what one groom did recently, turning up to his Big Day in a Batmobile.

Graeme Sneddon certainly made an entrance when he arrived at Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, surprising guests when he showed up in the 1989 Batmobile worth £1 million.

The slick sportscar was provided by firm Character Cars, which has vehicles that have been featured in films and TV shows over the years. These include James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, the Flintstones’ family car, Herbie, Ghostbusters Ecto-1, and Lightning McQueen.

As well as the 1989 Batmobile, couples can hire the 1966, Tumbler, or BVS Batmobiles, the Batcycle and the Bat Boat.

Batman fan Graeme certainly lived out two of his dreams on his wedding day, including, of course, tying the knot with his bride Nicola Lincoln.

Choosing a fancy car is not the only way to make your wedding stand out from the rest, as you could give lots of thought to your décor, entertainment, and outfits if you want to turn heads on the day.

One way to really engage your guests is by hiring a wedding photobooth. Have lots of props nearby so friends and family can dress themselves up in outlandish accessories for the photos, and have scrapbooks nearby so they can write funny notes next to their hilarious pictures.
